IPS Monthly Meeting

Our ongoing monthly meetings support our community with education and comradery amongst other individuals with an interest in psychedelics.

Each month with explore a new topic related to psychedelics and often bring in guest speakers to share their expertise in the emerging field. 

This month, we invite you to join our conversation on June 12, Wednesday, with our special guest speaker, Sophie B, as she delves into the role of psychedelic medicine within the Jungian framework. This presentation is designed for all audiences, requiring no prior psychological background or knowledge. In this hour we will dialogue on the major Jungian concepts that will be helpful for entheogenic work, including archetypes, shadow, symbol, reverie, and dream interpretation.

Sophie B is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 20 years of experience as a professional therapist. She began her career as an addiction counselor, but soon shifted to the Jungian Depth Psychology Framework for her training and practice and has been practicing that way the past 15 years. She trained at the C.G. Jung Institute of Chicago under the supervision and consultation of Dr Gus Cwik and Dr. Donald Kalsched.
